Privacy policy
This policy explains what StemShip (Digifix (Alex Johnson), Ontario, Canada) collects and why. Short version: as little as possible, never sold.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email and, if you choose, what you do (producer, engineer...). Used to tell you about the beta and launch.
- Purchases: your email, what you bought and the amount. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
- Licence activation: your licence key and an anonymous ID for each Mac you activate, so the two-Mac limit works. No names, files or audio.
- Website visits: basic, cookie-free visit counts through Cloudflare Web Analytics. No tracking cookies and no advertising trackers.
What we don't collect
Your music. StemShip processes audio on your own Mac and never uploads it.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the shop: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting and security) and our email provider (receipts and licence emails). We don't sell or rent your data.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as needed for your licence and for tax and accounting rules. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
